  3. Hi Pawan,
Thanks for the very encouraging feedback!! and selecting your best choice as LetsPlaywithWater_22.jpg.

Actually, I now need to go and review the other photos that I took but did not post as, this one (LetsPlaywithWater_22.jpg) came only as a last entrant into the blog. :-) and I was in a dilemma whether to retain or to drop it... :-)

I have a doubt which Im confident you would be able to help me with... (May be, very silly to you) :-)
Of late, I understood that to shoot close-up / portrait photos, AV mode is more suitable and that F value should be higher so that the aperture opening will be small. When I do this, the shutter speed increases to few seconds, making it very difficult to take photo hand held. So, what would be the right balance in these scenarios ? Is AV the right setting or something else? Am I missing something else here ? Pls. kindly advise. Thanks a lot for your help and time...

  5. Hi Selva,

Mode doesn't matter much... what matter is you do the right setting. "M" mode is good for learning, later you will think that "AV" is better as you only need to play with Aperture then...

You need to adjust F number in such a way that shutter speed have in limit in case of hand held, else you will be getting blurry photos. if you are shooting closeup it F8 will be a better choice...
